Cable Tray Exporter from India to South-East Asia

Pioneer Industrial Instruments exports cable trays from its plant in Pirangut, Pune, India to South-East Asia — Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines — shipping FOB Nhava Sheva (JNPT, Mumbai) on Incoterms 2020, with CFR / CIF to the nearest port on request. Its perforated, ladder and wire mesh trays are UL certified, declared to IEC 61537:2023, supplied against BS EN 61537 on UK-led specifications and load tested for NEMA VE 1 for US-designed projects.

  • FOB Nhava Sheva · Incoterms 2020
  • IEC 61537 · BS EN 61537 · NEMA VE 1

South-East Asian projects are specified by consultants trained in British, American and international practice, often on the same site. Pioneer supplies one range that answers all three, made in one plant in Pune and shipped from the nearest major container port, Nhava Sheva.

Standards commonly specified in South-East Asia

MarketHow cable tray usually appears in the specificationProject cities we supply
SingaporeBritish-derived codes; BS EN 61537 on data centre, pharma and commercial projects; NEMA VE 1 and UL on US-designed data centres.Singapore, Jurong, Tuas
MalaysiaBritish-derived codes; BS EN 61537 on data centre, pharma and commercial projects; IEC 61537 on international EPC specifications.Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru, Penang, Kuantan
IndonesiaIEC 61537 on consultant and international EPC specifications; NEMA VE 1 on US-format oil, gas and data-centre projects.Jakarta, Surabaya, Batam
ThailandIEC 61537 on consultant and EPC specifications; NEMA VE 1 on US-designed projects.Bangkok, Rayong
VietnamIEC 61537 on international consultant and EPC specifications; NEMA VE 1 on US-designed projects.Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Haiphong
PhilippinesNEMA VE 1 on US-format specifications; IEC 61537 on international EPC projects.Manila, Cebu

Whatever the format, the consultant wants the same evidence: safe working load at the support span, deflection at that load, corrosion class and electrical continuity. Our IEC 61537:2023 page explains the tests and publishes the results; BS EN 61537 and NEMA VE 1 have their own pages.

What we ship

Wire meshElectro-zinc, HDG, SS 304L / 316L.Data halls, telecom, instrumentation and control cabling
FRP (supplied)Glass-fibre reinforced polyester, UV-stabilised.Chemical plants, desalination, water treatment

Every type comes with matching bends, tees, crosses, reducers, covers, splice plates and supports in the same finish. Drip trays for data-centre pipework and AHUs ship in the same container — see drip trays.

Choosing a finish for tropical and coastal sites

  • Air-conditioned indoor areas — pre-galvanised GI or electro-zinc wire mesh.
  • Outdoor, humid and industrial areas — hot-dip galvanised after fabrication. See HDG cable trays.
  • Coastal, marine-facing and chloride-exposed sites — SS 316L. See SS 316L cable trays.
  • Chemical and water-treatment plants — FRP or SS 316L.

Documents supplied for export

  • NABL-accredited laboratory test reports (published PDF), Pioneer’s declaration of conformity to IEC 61537:2023 and Certificate of Compliance to NEMA VE 1.
  • Data sheets, dimensions and load tables; GA drawings for approval.
  • EN 10204 3.1 material test certificates per lot, for steel, stainless and aluminium.
  • Hot-dip galvanising coating thickness readings per lot.

Why Pioneer

An export order needs a manufacturer, not a trader: one plant, one set of test reports, and the same tray in the last container as in the first.

  • UL certified cable trays, declared to IEC 61537:2023 and load tested for NEMA VE 1.
  • Tested at an NABL-accredited laboratory — load–deflection, zinc coating, salt spray, tensile and chemical reports are published as a PDF.
  • Manufacturing since 1994 at our own plant in Pirangut, Pune, which turns out up to 8,000 metres of tray a day.
  • Supply across India by road from Pune, and export FOB Nhava Sheva (JNPT, Mumbai).
  • Quotation within 24 hours of your BOQ, with the data sheet your consultant needs.

Questions buyers ask

Straight answers from our engineers. Ask us anything else on WhatsApp or by mail.

Does Pioneer export cable trays to South-East Asia?

Yes. Pioneer Industrial Instruments of Pune, India exports cable trays to Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines, shipping FOB Nhava Sheva (JNPT, Mumbai) on Incoterms 2020, with CFR / CIF to the nearest port on request.

Which cable tray standards are used in Singapore and Malaysia?

Both follow British-derived practice, so BS EN 61537 is common on data centre, pharma and commercial projects, with IEC 61537 on international EPC specifications and NEMA VE 1 with UL on US-designed data centres. Pioneer supplies against all three.

Can Pioneer supply NEMA VE 1 cable trays for US-designed projects in Asia?

Yes. Pioneer’s trays are load tested for NEMA VE 1 and are UL certified, and we supply a Certificate of Compliance to NEMA VE 1 citing the NABL-accredited laboratory reports.

What documents come with an export shipment?

Commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, EN 10204 3.1 material test certificates, galvanising coating readings, the NABL-accredited laboratory test reports and Pioneer’s Certificate of Compliance, plus the inspection release where a third party has inspected.

What is the lead time for an export container?

A 20-foot container of standard sizes is normally ready two to three weeks after drawing approval, subject to galvanising and inspection scheduling. Sea transit depends on the destination port and shipping line.

Which finish should I choose for a coastal site in South-East Asia?

SS 316L where trays face salt spray or chloride exposure, hot-dip galvanised after fabrication for most outdoor and industrial areas, and FRP for chemical zones. Pre-galvanised GI is for air-conditioned indoor areas only.

Can a third-party inspector check the trays before shipment?

Yes. SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek, TÜV or the client’s own inspector are welcome at the Pirangut plant in Pune, with the inspection and test plan, material certificates and coating readings shared in advance.
